I set up Inspired Image in the UK in 2002 because helping people to feel good about themselves is my motivation in life. Word spread fast and I quickly gained a solid client base that included corporate organisations, business associations, BBC television presenters, women and men – many of whom have become great friends and loyal clients.
In 2008, I relocated to Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam, to experience the exciting economic expansion in Asia. Today, I split my time between working in Vietnam and the UK – I feel very lucky indeed!
In 2009, I was awarded Master status at the UK-based Federation of Image Professionals International (FIPI) – a global membership federation for image professionals. Between 2015-2017, I served as International Director on the executive board at the same organisation. I’m now proud to be an Assessor for FIPI’s Master Awards.
Since 2016, I have been a mentor at Naisa Global in Washington DC. This is an educational NGO that helps talented young Asian Americans become the next generation of leaders.
In 2017, I forged an exciting new link with Debrett’s – the UK’s authority on modern etiquette and social skills. I’m thrilled to be the first Debrett’s certified trainer outside the UK to teach ‘Young Achiever Essentials’, a course that develops confidence and interpersonal skills for young people.
In 2018, my book, Thay Cách Mặc, Đổi Cuộc Đời (Dress Me Confident), was published in Vietnam. It’s a comprehensive style guide aimed at professional Asian women. The book gives readers the core skills on how to build and project a modern professional image, in order to transform their confidence and career success. I’m thrilled that the book is being very well-received by readers; it has been reprinted twice just after one year.
